Sezairi won

No controversies please, his voice is very unique and he’s obviously talented. It’s not racist, Malays take up only 14% of the country’s population. So how can it be racist? It’s either Sylvia’s fans did not vote enough, or Sezairi has more fans. It’s simple, common sense. And about the fact that the previous winners were also malay guys, isn’t it obvious that they had more talent than the other idol finalist in that season? Come on, guys. Give it a rest. The same happened with Adam Lambert and Kris Allen on Americal Idol. I know that many people wanted Adam to win. People like me. Oh and Asian Idol. Hady Mirza won but Singapore is a small country compared to the other countries that participated. So what’s done is done, I’m happy for Sezairi. :)

(you, I know you don't wanna read this, so please don't.)

I agree. I just wanna add this:

Singapore doesn't like change. Especially the older people. They prefer things to stay the way they are. It's bad luck that the first two were Malays - not that they didn't deserve it, of course - but if SG doesn't like change, they're not going to vote for Sylvia no matter how well she sings. It's nothing about racism.
